To keep the costs down when developing a website, Islay IT Services has developed website templates, each of which can be used as the basis for a new website. These templates allow the generation of a website to take place in a time-efficient manner whilst allowing customisation to reflect customer specific branding.

Each template has a separate look and feel that provides the user with a different web browsing experience, but is able to reflect the customer’s branding through the appropriate use of text, colours and images. However, the general structure of the web page (such as borders and placement of text and images) will remain. Any website designed by Islay IT Services can be used as a template. If clarification is required as to how each of the templates may be used, a single web page "mock-up" can be provided on request that can demonstrate how web content will look.

A second option is to design a website from scratch and provide a bespoke design. This approach is much more labour intensive, but provides a website look and feel that is completely customised to accommodate customer requirements and is therefore unique. In the event that a customer already has a strong branding or has firm ideas about the appearance of a potential website, then it is most likely that a bespoke design would best fulfil these requirements.
